Global Education & Training Initiatives (GETI) Directory

The GETI Directory is a new effort to collect information related to small arms/light weapons, landmine and explosive remnants of war training and education opportunities in one publication. All information has been submitted voluntarily by course providers. Specifically, the Directory focuses on training and education related to:

  • small-arms/light-weapons threat reduction or disarmament
  • landmine detection or removal
  • explosive ordnance and remnants of war disposal
  • weapons security and arms control

Topical sections include technical clearance, security, policy, management, and post-conflict development. The Directory includes courses designed for both military and/or civilian personnel, and courses range in type from certification classes to full academic programs.
